Aus Ward thinks that all colors are made of pure color mixed with white or black in proper proportion, so any color can be used.

The hue of Aus Ward's color system is mainly composed of yellow (Y), orange (O), red (R), purple (P), blue (UB), blue green (T), green (SG), yellow green (LG) and other 8 colors. The main hue is divided into 3 colors, and each color phase is divided into 3 colors. It is made up of 24 hue. The hue is connected with the number of 1~24, and the color at both ends of the color ring is complementary to each other.

Munsell color system

American art was established in 1915 by Munsell (1858-1918), and its Munsell Book of Color was published in 1927. In 1904, the color measurement Committee of the Optical Society of the United States revised the book for the sake of color measurement.
