According to the Consumer Goods Safety Improvement Act 2008 (CPSIA) 104th (d), the Safety Council issued the "consumer registration requirements for durable infant products" and "final rules".

The final

rule

Require every manufacturer of durable infant products: provide a postage paid consumer registration form for each product; retain the consumer record of the product registered with the manufacturer; the manufacturer's permanent address and contact information, type name and type, and the date of birth of each product.

The final rule specifies the text and format of the registration form, and specifies the requirements for registration through the Internet.


The following products will be observed in June 28, 2010: full size cribs and non full size cribs; baby beds; high chairs; child safety chairs; hook chairs; bath chairs; restrictions.

The doors and other fences; the game fence; the fixed activity center; the basket type baby seat; the light baby carriage; the walker; the swing; and the cradle and cradle.

The following products will be observed on December 29, 2010: Children's folding chairs, adjustable tables, baby rocking chairs, baby bathtubs, bed fences and baby straps.
