Corps Labor Service Information

Recently, the Xinjiang labor and Social Security Bureau of the production and Construction Corps announced to the public the demand for labor and employment in 2011.

This year

Corps

Plans to introduce four hundred thousand flower workers, a decrease of one hundred thousand over last year.

The cost of picking flowers is 1.30 yuan per kilogram, which is 0.30 yuan more than last year.

According to Li Jianjun, Minister of social labor management department of the labor and Social Security Bureau of the Corps, this year, the cotton planting area of the Corps is 7 million 600 thousand mu, and the area of machine harvested cotton has reached 3 million 500 thousand mu, so the number of flower pickers needed has decreased.

In recent years, due to the increase of labor costs in the whole country, the problem of shortage of flower workers has always been there.

Continuous rise

The BINGTUAN Party committee confirmed that the Corps realized "twelve. Five" of all cotton mining, and the Corps significantly increased the area of mechanically harvested cotton and the intensity of mechanical harvesting.

One good news for the corps to harvest cotton mechanically is that, according to the arrangement of China Fiber Inspection Bureau, Xinjiang will adopt the internationally adopted "color characteristic grade" inspection standard to carry out notarization inspection of cotton in some cotton processing plants this year.

In the near future, the "color characteristic level" inspection standard will replace our current cotton grade inspection standard, and promote China's cotton notarization test to be in line with the international community. It has resolved the controversy about the acquisition standard of "machine picked cotton" and "hand picked cotton", and has met the requirements of cotton machinery harvesting.

It is understood that in 2010, the regiment planned to recruit five hundred thousand flower pickups, actually in place.

To 475 thousand and 800, they accumulated nearly 3 million tons of seed cotton, and the Corps paid 2 billion 219 million yuan for the cost of picking flowers. The average income of the pick-up workers was 4664 yuan, up by more than 30% from 2796 yuan per capita in 2009.

In 2010, the price of flower picking established by the Labor Department of the Corps was 1 yuan per kilogram, while the actual cost of picking flowers was between 1.5 yuan and 2.5 yuan.

Li Jianjun said that the number of imported flower workers was small, but with the development of the Corps urbanization and industrialization, the demand for labor and employment in other industries of the Corps remained large.

The Corps plans to recruit 850 thousand workers this year, including 600 thousand agricultural workers (400 thousand of them pick up flower workers, 150 thousand of other seasonal employment, 50 thousand of long-term land workers), 200 thousand of the industry (including construction industry), and 50 thousand of the service industry.
