President Yang Pingying This problem is a problem faced by all clothing enterprises. In fact, if there is no impact of the epidemic, the clothing industry has also come to an inflection point. It is also necessary to look at the positioning and trend of China's clothing from a global perspective.

President Yang Pingying: Over the past 10 years, the clothing industry has two most significant characteristics:
First, from the perspective of talent structure, the most prominent is the scarcity of skilled talents. But because of the low labor cost, we can occupy a certain market by exporting, and we also have a certain competitiveness in the world. Therefore, there is no need to consider too much innovation, strategic thinking and talent reserve and training.
But today, 10 years later, labor costs are rising, consumption is upgrading, and science and technology are progressing. Therefore, from the perspective of talent structure, great changes have taken place. We can't use the past talent strategy to develop today's clothing industry.
In the past 10 years, our country's definition of talent has been constantly changing. At the first national talent work meeting in 2003, it was proposed that a powerful country with human resources is labor-intensive human resources 10 years ago, but it will be affected by large volume and low quality; in 2006, it was proposed that a powerful country with human capital is subject to economic strength and needs strong capital accumulation; In 2010, the second talent work conference proposed to build a powerful country with human resources. In fact, it implemented a powerful country with talents. In other words, the limited human capital was relatively concentrated in high-level human resources, that is, human resources. What we created was a high-quality elite team and played their engine role in economic and social development.
No matter what industry it is, talent is the most important resource in the world, the first resource, the strategic resource and the first driving force to promote social development. What kind of talents should we pay attention to when the clothing industry develops to this stage? I think they are innovative talents, talents with international level and scientific research talents. In the first stage of the past, we relied on low labor force to win and be competitive in the world. If we want to be competitive in the world in the second stage, we must gather these talents and lead the development of the clothing industry by combining our Chinese culture and international elements.
In the future, we will also make innovative talents, international talents and scientific research talents form a core level talent think tank in the clothing Talent Research Association, and contribute to the development of China's clothing industry.
Reporter: what do you think are the problems and future challenges faced by Chinese garment enterprises?
President Yang Pingying: First of all, China's clothing is facing four major problems at present and in the future.
1、 Overall overcapacity, oversupply.
Clothing enterprises have low entry threshold, less investment and fast construction of the overall supply chain, so they can form scale in a short time. Through the rapid development in recent ten years, there has been obvious overcapacity situation. With the improvement of consumption level and the rapid development of clothing industry, the total supply of clothing products has been far greater than the total demand. As the clothing market as a whole adopts the futures mode, there is a lag period for the formation of overcapacity, which has already presented a serious situation.
2、 The product homogeneity competition is very serious, and the profit ability declines seriously.
After more than 30 years of development in product design, production, sales, brand, operation and other aspects of clothing enterprises, the overall process, talents and resources have been quite mature. Therefore, brand replication is quite easy. Enterprises of the same brand occupy the market with homogeneous products, and the competition rapidly enters the red sea from blue ocean, which makes the profitability of garment enterprises decline seriously.
3、 The new market demand grows again, the original demand slows down again, and the enterprise development has lagged behind.
With the structural adjustment of China's economic growth mode to solve the overall economic overcapacity, the economic growth rate is gradually reduced, which affects the growth of people's income and has a certain impact on the clothing consumption market. The growth of the original market consumption demand slows down, and the development speed of clothing enterprises decelerates significantly. However, after the emergence of new consumption demand, clothing enterprises have not kept up with its changes 。
4、 The innovation mode of clothing enterprises does not keep up with the change of market demand.
After more than 30 years of development, garment enterprises have been in the stage of rapid development, so the development mode is single, and the ability to respond to the change of market demand is low. When the market is in a saturated state, there is no innovation mode to meet the changes of market demand. The enterprise is in a passive adjustment state, and has not given its clothing concept and culture in it, so it has caused rapid consumption Cost, and reduce sustainable consumption.
Secondly, the following problems generally exist in Chinese clothing enterprises.
First, the clothing enterprises do not really understand the needs of enterprises.
For a long time, the "order system" mode implemented by garment enterprises predicts the market demand rather than the real demand of consumers. There is no effective mechanism to understand and satisfy consumers. Therefore, it is impossible to achieve mass production and market-oriented, but to meet the demand of distributors. In this way, the consumption of terminal VIP consumers decreases year by year, and the entity stores or individuals form A large number of inventory products, forming a vicious circle.
Second, the upper and lower ends of the value chain of garment enterprises failed to achieve a win-win situation.
In the process of development of clothing enterprises, the profit level of brand manufacturers has been fully guaranteed. However, due to the influence of rent, staff wages, product inventory and other factors, as well as the increase of production costs of suppliers and manufacturers, the total profit level of clothing enterprises has been continuously declining, and even operating at a loss, Therefore, the upper and lower end of the value chain can not achieve a win-win situation, which seriously affects the sustainable profitability of enterprises.
3、 The innovation of clothing enterprises is not enough, the cost increases and the competitiveness is lost.
In recent years, the cost of labor, tax, raw materials and other costs of clothing enterprises has been rising, the overall level of innovation is not enough, sales volume has not been significantly improved, their own profit level has also been declining, lost competitiveness.
4、 The integration of clothing enterprises has not found a clear direction.
In the case of market sales being hindered, they did not find out the focus, did not clearly recognize the problems of the enterprise itself, blindly invested a lot of money in the retail management to strengthen management and training, and failed to clearly realize that enterprise integration is an overall integration from new market positioning, new commodity planning, new product design, new supply chain innovation, new channel integration and new retail adjustment 。
