On May 14, the cotton textile industry final of the 2024 Workers' Vocational Skills Competition in Dongming County, Heze City, Shandong Province was held in Shandong Zhengdao New Weaving Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the competition is hosted by Dongming County Federation of Trade Unions, Dongming County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Dongming County Industry and Information Bureau, and undertaken by Shandong Zhengdao New Weaving Co., Ltd. The finals included four types of work: fiber carding, drawing, roving and spinning. The contest includes two links: theoretical knowledge and operational skills assessment, both of which adopt the 100 point system, and those above 60 points are qualified; The examination of theoretical knowledge is carried out in the form of paper and pencil answers; The skill operation assessment shall be conducted by means of on-site assessment.

In the theory contest, the contestants carefully treat each theory question, understand and master the basic knowledge of cotton spinning, spinning process production technology, basic requirements of operation production and spinning workers' operation methods, and demonstrate a solid theoretical foundation.

On the scene of the practice competition, the contestants threaded, knotted, and wound threads... Although the silk threads on the machine were numerous, the contestants calmly responded, operated rigorously, and the atmosphere was tense and intense, demonstrating the superb skills of workers in the cotton textile industry.
