On December 11, 2024, the National Technical Exchange Meeting on Wool Fiber Testing continued to be wonderful. In view of the difficult problems encountered in this year's comparison test of fluff fiber content and lint free length and fineness, the meeting invited experts to make on-site presentations, demonstrate the practical operation of lint free hand platoon length, and invite experts from production enterprises, testing and scientific research institutions to carry out dialogues and exchanges around issues of concern to the industry.
   Answer questions:
Deep discussion on common problems of detection
Focusing on the identification of cashmere fineness, variety, and recycled cashmere, as well as the detailed problems encountered in the testing process, the exchange meeting held an expert dialogue session, inviting Li Xing, the manager of Chifeng Dongli Cashmere Co., Ltd., Pang Ruidong, the secretary general of cashmere professional committee of China Wool Textile Industry Association Fei Jing, senior engineer of Shanghai Customs Industrial Products and Raw Materials Testing Technology Center, Han Jing, director of the Testing Center of Beijing Woolen Textile Science Research Institute, and Chen Jihong, senior manager of Intertek (Tianjin) Quality Technology Service Co., Ltd., put forward suggestions around these problems and answered the questions of the delegates at the meeting. Liu Yan, Vice President of China Wool Textile Industry Association, presided over the session.
In view of the popular cashmere in the market in recent years, Li Xing introduced the methods of identifying cashmere in enterprises, the problems encountered and some work being studied.
From the biological point of view, Fei Jing proposed that proteomic analysis could be used to identify cashmere. At the same time, she proposed that the next step would be to study the protein expression differences of cashmere at different ages, providing support for future detection.
For the identification of recycled cashmere, Pang Ruidong introduced that Ordos currently qualitatively identifies cashmere by observing the appearance, testing and analyzing the content of fiber components, identifying dyeing properties, judging physical properties, etc., but enterprises still face bottlenecks in quantitative testing.
In the process of raw material trading, in addition to the problem of fineness, there will also be some index problems involved in the current no national standard, industrial standard, group standard, etc. How should the industry solve these problems? Can some unified schemes be formed?
Han Jing suggested that buyers and sellers of fluff should correctly understand that the fluff fineness value is a range, and should not pursue a single value. At the same time, it is suggested that the third-party laboratory should report the confidence interval of fineness in addition to unifying the average fineness, which is conducive to avoiding risks and allowing enterprises to intuitively see the product range. In addition, it is suggested to develop reference materials or reference materials that are less than 14.5 μ m and more than 40 μ m, so that instruments and equipment can have a customizable and quantifiable standard to reduce the difference between the results of laboratories.
Chen Jihong proposed to improve and revise relevant standards by focusing on how to issue a test report if there is "suspected wool" or a trace of cotton wool but the content exceeds 0.5% in the test results of pure cashmere products, and how to issue a report on "medium thick", "hybrid" or "non cashmere goat" cashmere fibers, It is suggested that the China Woolen Association and the Professional Standards Committee should evaluate whether the tested samples meet the promised quality according to the cashmere fineness test results.
   Experience sharing:
Promote the latest detection technology and promote improvement
The exchange meeting invited many experts from testing institutions to share the latest testing technology and testing instruments. Su Yue, head of the content group of the inspection center of the Beijing Wool Textile Science Research Institute, discussed the uncertainty of the wool detection. She said that the measurement uncertainty was mainly caused by the lack of experience and uneven sampling of the testing personnel, the uncertainty of the testing equipment itself, and the different testing environments. Due to the lack of reference materials and the inconsistency of the technique, reading, and mapping, there were some differences in the test results of the hand row length of the non plush fineness between laboratories.
Liu Haibo, senior manager of Bureau Veritas Shimei Commodity Testing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., introduced the labeling of special animal fibers in China, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the European Union and other countries and regions, and said that under normal circumstances, the names of corresponding animal fibers can be labeled separately. He also introduced the identification parameters of cashmere and the methods of identifying variant cashmere fibers and sheep wool fibers.
Dalai, the product development director of Ningxia Xin'ao Cashmere Co., Ltd., introduced the quality inspection composition of Ningxia Xin'ao, including raw materials, dyeing, spinning and finished product inspection. The company is equipped with a standard atmospheric environment constant temperature and humidity raw material testing laboratory, which can test more than ten indicators such as fiber length, fineness, moisture regain, etc; The dyeing physical and chemical room is equipped with Lawer automatic suction machine, Tecnorama automatic suction dyeing integrated machine, Hangjie automatic suspension color test small prototype and a full set of domestic spinning small prototype and other proofing test instruments; The spinning workshop is equipped with product process inspection; Finished products shall be tested according to national standards and customer requirements.
Huang Zhihong, Chief Engineer of Beijing Hezhong Vision Technology Co., Ltd., discussed the number of fiber fineness measurements in the micro projection method. The number of tests mainly includes the number of test pieces on each sample piece and the number of test parallel samples. He said that the market now has very high requirements for high test accuracy, and manual testing is actually unbearable. High precision (large test flux, low deviation range) and efficient fiber fineness testing have gradually become the rigid demand of the market. He also introduced the feasibility and advantages of the new CU-AF system for high-throughput automated testing.
Zhu Wei, Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Feique Lanbo Science and Technology Research Center Co., Ltd., analyzed the development status of inspection and testing industry from the aspects of summary of relevant favorable policies in recent years, regional distribution, market size, market segmentation, etc; The historical stage of AI industry development, typical AI application achievements, AI industry capacity scale and the top ten AI hot technologies from 2020 to 2023 are introduced, and the AI image recognition special fiber composition analyzer is introduced, which saves 50% labor and improves efficiency by 10 times.
Zheng Tianjian, General Manager of Xinjiang Tiantong Xingye Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the latest developed portable fluff fiber detection technology equipment, all-weather portable fluff fineness length short pile rate fast detector, homogeneous wool color cavity hair detection equipment, anti compression elastic detector, tuft length strength fast detector and gas opener, And the advantages of six new testing equipment.
Wang Ruizhe, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Department of China Wool Textile Industry Association, shared the latest trends of international sustainable textile strategy from three aspects: EU policy concern and interpretation, textile environmental rating scheme, impact on the industry and countermeasures.
Wang Qiuyan, engineer of Inner Mongolia Ordos Resources Co., Ltd., analyzed the length of combing cashmere hand platoon from two aspects of standard and comparison, and introduced in detail the important test steps and operation methods such as sample humidity regulation, sampling, sample separation and weight determination, layout and drawing.
   Practical drill:
Students are enthusiastic and experts preach
This year's exchange meeting was even more unique. The on-site operation demonstration of the length of the lint free hand platoon was added ingeniously. The delegates at the meeting could not only conduct in-depth exchanges in theory, but also learn skills and show style in practice. Praise the excellent players and participants on the spot.
In addition, on the site of the exchange meeting, the participants also took the difficult samples they encountered in their work and actively raised specific questions to the experts present. Chen Jihong, senior manager of Intertek (Tianjin) Quality Technology Service Co., Ltd., Ma Haiyan, head of animal fiber content testing section of Inner Mongolia Dongke Textile Testing Service Co., Ltd., Hong Xia, engineer of Inner Mongolia Ordos Resources Co., Ltd., Tang Jun, director of Shanghai Intertek Quality Technology Service Co., Ltd., etc, Answering every question patiently and meticulously not only imparts theoretical knowledge, but also teaches valuable experience through example demonstration.
In order to help the representatives solve problems more intuitively, the experts even moved the testing instruments directly to the venue for on-site operation guidance. This arrangement enables the representatives to observe the operation process of experts closely, deepen their understanding of professional knowledge, and obtain practical feedback in time.
The atmosphere at the meeting was warm, and the delegates were absorbed, nodded their heads frequently to show their approval. They also actively interacted with experts from time to time to share their opinions and insights. Such an exchange meeting not only provided a platform for delegates to learn and improve, but also promoted experience sharing and cooperation between them.
