In order to further promote the special action of Olympic fire safety, we should strengthen the rectification progress of major fire hazard units, and strive to create a good fire fighting environment.

Anhui Chizhou Guichi District Fire Department has gone all out to actively carry out hidden trouble investigation and rectification, and resolutely put an end to mass death and group injuries.

At present, a major fire hazard in the area has been successfully eliminated.

Chizhou Huaxing Shoes Co., Ltd. is a labor-intensive manufacturing enterprise.

In March 6, 2008, the Guichi fire department found that there were many hidden dangers in the production building of the fire department in the fire supervision and inspection: lack of an evacuation staircase; no closed staircases; no water pump adapter installed in the hydrant system; no emergency fire lights and evacuation signs were installed in staircases, safety doors and evacuation walkways, which was a major fire hazard.

To this end, Guichi fire attaches great importance to it. In March 12th, it issued a notice of rectification of major fire hazards, and ordered the company to complete the rectification before June 12, 2008.

Meanwhile, the Guichi fire department will report the situation to the higher authorities.

In May 18th, after being listed by the Chizhou Municipal People's government, Chizhou Huaxing Shoes Co., Ltd. was identified as a "major fire hazard unit".

In June 9, 2008, the company submitted the "application for postponed rectification" to the Fire Department of Guichi district. After discussion and study by the fire department, it issued the "consent to postponed rectification notice" on June 11, and the company's fire risk rectification deadline extended to July 12, 2008.

On the morning of July 15th, the fire department carried out a review of the company, but the fire hazard remained unchanged.

The company has issued a "reexamination opinion" immediately after issuing the notice of "serious fire hidden danger by the public security fire agency that overdue correction". It decided to "fail to review" and put it on record in July 24th, and made a decision on administrative penalty in July 28th.

With the active coordination of the people's Government of Guichi District, relevant departments have studied and discussed the addition of outdoor metal staircases.

During the period from July 28th to August 5th, the company did not set up fire emergency lights and evacuation exit signs in the absence of evacuation staircases, fire hydrant system without water pump adapter, staircase, safety doors, evacuation walkways and other places.

For the problem of "no closed staircase", the fire door was used to separate the contract. In July 25th, the company signed a contract for the purchase of fire doors, and ordered an order deposit of three thousand yuan (installation in August 15th).

In August 16th, the company submitted a report on the rectification and rectification of major fire hazards. The fire department checked the rectification situation one by one and confirmed that the situation was true (the fire door was waiting for installation), which allowed the fire hazard of Chizhou Huaxing Shoes Co. Ltd. to "close the case".
