The Standard Of Synthetic Leather For Protective Shoes Will Be Implemented In October

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially approved 110 light industry standards, including the industrial standard of Synthetic Leather for Protective Shoes (QB/T4044-2010) drafted and formulated by Shanghai Huafeng Superfiber Materials Co., Ltd. The standard will be implemented from October 1, 2010.

Huafeng Superfiber is currently the largest superfine fiber synthetic leather enterprise in China in terms of sales volume, and one of the two drafting units of the QB/T2888-2007 Standard of Polyurethane Bundled Ultrafine Fiber Synthetic Leather. The company started the research and development of ultra fiber protective shoes in 2003 and successfully developed them in 2006, becoming the only ultra fiber enterprise in China that meets the EU S2 standard for ultra fiber protective shoe leather, effectively filling the gap in domestic high-end moisture permeable waterproof labor protective shoe leather, and effectively enhancing the core competitiveness of Huafeng ultra fiber products and brands. In May 2007, Huafeng Superfiber successfully applied for the patent of "Manufacturing Method of Synthetic Leather for Protective Shoes". The approved industrial standards mainly stipulate the classification, safety technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of synthetic leather products for protective shoes.

At present, the main problems faced by the domestic ultra fiber industry lie in the intense homogenization competition, the insufficient R&D and innovation capacity of enterprises, and the lack of high-end products. Based on this, Huafeng Superfiber has firmly taken the road of differentiation and high-end development since its inception, and has achieved the first sales volume for several consecutive years while adhering to technological innovation and product research and development. In addition to the ultra fiber protective shoe leather, a series of high-end products for special purposes developed by the company, such as ultra fiber shoe lining leather, ultra fiber military leather, ultra fiber automobile interior leather, have also passed the relevant standard tests, and the market prospect is promising.
