The chairmen (Chief Executive Officer) of China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam signed the honorary certificate of Asian outstanding young designer fashion awards.

2010 the Chinese Congress was held in Hangzhou in from July 3rd to 4th.

The conference is sponsored by the Asian Fashion Federation (AFF) and the China Fashion Designers Association.

Representatives from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam from 6 Asian Fashion Federation participated in the conference.

The Asian Fashion Forum, one of the important contents of this conference, focuses on the new generation and Asian fashion.

6 young designers, including Chinese designer CABBEEN, have won the fashion award for outstanding young designers in Asia.


This is the seventh Asian fashion conference held since the first Asian fashion conference held in Tokyo in 2003. It is also the second time that the general assembly has been held in China.

The number of Chinese delegations participating in this session is over 260.

In July 3rd, the Asian Fashion convention opened.

At the opening ceremony, the chairman of the Asian Fashion Federation members delivered speeches.


Wang Qing, executive director of the Asian Fashion Federation China Committee, said that Asian countries have natural geographical and cultural origins, and the rise of the new generation has added strong innovation.

"We believe that the convening of this conference will further promote cultural exchanges and industrial cooperation among Asian countries."


Hara Ikehiko, a member of the Japan Federation of Asian Fashion Federation, said: "the Asian Fashion Federation will clarify its role in disseminate Asian fashion to the world, and promote cooperation among Asian countries to help countries succeed in each other's market.

To achieve this goal, we will make greater efforts to expand the scope of activities of the Asian Games. "

The opening ceremony was held at the headquarters of Han Bo (International) Group Co., Ltd. in Hangzhou.

The Asian Fashion Awards for outstanding young designers were presented at the opening ceremony. 6 young designers were awarded the award.

In addition to Chinese designer CABBEEN, other award-winning designers come from the 5 member states of the Asia alliance. They are Xintai Zai (Japan), Jin Jiliang (Korea), Yang Fucai (Singapore), Chai JEAM AMORNRAT (Thailand) and TA THUY LE HANG (Vietnam).


The Asian Fashion Forum was held in July 4th with the theme of "new generation and Asian fashion".

Speaking at the forum, Du Yuzhou, honorary chairman of the conference, said that we should read the new generation in order to grasp the fashion.

He elaborated the current situation and development of Asian fashion from many aspects such as technology, social culture and economy.


At the forum, representatives from 6 member countries made keynote speeches.

The representatives of China, Japan and Korea focus on their young fashions in their speeches.


Su Baoyan, vice president of China Fashion Designers Association, addressed the speech entitled "China's post-80s generation and young fashion".

She analyzed the growth background, lifestyle and consumption concept of the 80's. According to statistics, China has reached 210 million people after 80, accounting for 17% of China's total population.

In the face of such a huge consumer group, the relationship between post-80s and young fashion in the Chinese market is also its speech.

Japanese designers believe in Tai Tai's works.


Watanabe Asuka, a full-time lecturer at the Japanese Academy of life sciences, Japan, made a speech entitled "Japanese street fashion at the forefront of fashion trends".

She has introduced the research work and achievements of Japanese street fashion since the 70s of last century. She also compared the photos with T photos in the street. It shows that street fashion is at the forefront of fashion in recent years. Street fashion is ahead of T and has become an important source of inspiration for T fashion.


Jisoo HA, an associate professor of clothing and textiles at the University of human ecology in Seoul, South Korea, analyzed the clothing style of young South Asian culture in the new century.

She analyzed the clothes of several ethnic groups such as Hei HA and roller skating in contemporary Korean sub culture.

She pointed out that the dress style of Korean young subculture tends to be loose and comfortable, and its group does not like complexity and prefer simple and personalized clothes.


Representatives from Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam made keynote speeches from visual merchandising, local and international trends, market and creativity.

Della NG, a trainer of MetaCircle International Corporation in Singapore, analyzes the features of the Asian Fashion Federation countries on display from visual marketing.

Anothai CHOLACHATPINYO, a lecturer in textile science at Kasetsart University of Thailand, and a consultant in clothing brand, "the international trend in the local context or the local trend in the international context" is the keynote speech.

He pointed out that we should guide young people at the local level in the field of consumption.

The way of life in Asia in the future will be consumption power and fresh force.

In the speech, the design director TRUONG ANH VU of Vietnam TIEN VU limited introduced the status of Vietnamese fashion market and its relationship with creativity.

During the Asian Fashion Federation 2010 China Conference, the organizing committee also organized a free exchange of representatives among Member States, visited the China Textile City in Keqiao, Shaoxing, and visited Shanghai Expo Park in the cultural tour.


Before the 2010 Asian Conference, the Asian Fashion Federation China Committee held a general election.

At the Third Congress of the Asian Fashion Federation China Committee, the delegates heard the work report of the China Council of the Asian Union, and voted on the list of the Third Council of the Asian Fashion Federation China Committee.

The representatives of several well-known enterprises were newly elected to the third board of directors. The executive chairman of this Council is still held by Wang Qing, chairman of China Fashion Designers Association.


The Asian Fashion Federation is co sponsored by the China Fashion Designers Association, the Japanese Fashion Association and the Korean Fashion Association in line with the goal of deepening understanding and promoting cooperation. It is called Asia Fashion Federation (AFF).

It was founded in Tokyo, Japan in December 10, 2003.

At the meeting, the Committee of the member states jointly decided to organize the "Asian Fashion Convention" every year, aiming at inheriting Oriental civilization and promoting Asian life culture.

At present, the Asian Fashion Federation has increased to 6 members, including Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.


The purpose of the Asian Fashion Federation is to focus on cultural exchanges and revitalize the fashion industry in Asian countries. The main objectives include strengthening mutual understanding of lifestyle and market characteristics among Member States, supporting market participation and industrial cooperation among Member States, exploring fashion art rooted in the culture of various countries, and distributing Asian fashion information to the European and American markets.
