The Protocol concerning Madrid's international registration of trademarks, the agreement on trade related aspects of intellectual property rights and the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China have not addressed the map.

The pattern known to the public is lacking in creativity and significance, and can not be protected by exclusive rights when it comes to public interest.


Note: the trademark of the ninth trademark law of the People's Republic of China shall be marked for distinguishing, and shall not conflict with the legitimate rights of others.


The trademark registrant has the right to mark the "registered trademark" or the registration mark.


Eleventh the following symbols shall not be registered as trademarks:


(1) only the general name, figure and type of the commodity are available.


(two) directly representing the quality, main raw materials, functions, uses, weight, quantity and other characteristics of commodities;


(three) lacking significant features.


The marks listed in the preceding paragraph can be registered as trademarks if they have obtained significant features and are easy to identify.
