From 9.5% to 52%, the tariff on fabrics increased from 6.4% to 35%, which caused trouble in Pakistan's textile industry, because the growth of tariffs would potentially affect textile exports, up to 300 million US dollars.


Turkey plans to alleviate unfair trade practices under the WTO rules, which may have the greatest impact on Pakistan and affect Pakistan's textile exports.

But some people believe that such punitive tariffs will benefit Pakistan's textile exports.
