Shanghai: Children'S Serious Illness Hospitalization Expense Reimbursement 50%

Shanghai, September 4 (reporter Zhou Kai Gong Yu) "Shanghai primary and secondary school students and infants hospitalized, out-patient medical care for a serious disease basic medical insurance pilot scheme" trial since September 1st, the system will benefit nearly 2 million primary and secondary school students and infants. The newly implemented basic medical social security system for children will focus on solving the family burden of children in serious illness and serious illness. According to the new regulations, all registered secondary school students aged below 18 years old and those aged 18 to 20 years old in Shanghai, including secondary vocational schools, technical schools, vocational schools and special schools, all belong to the scope of protection. It is learnt that children's primary medical social security system should be funded by the government. The hospitalization expenses of the insured patients, and the medical expenses of the out-patient clinics such as leukemia, hemophilia, aplastic anemia, malignant tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy, dialysis before kidney spanplantation and postoperative anti rejection treatment, are paid by the security fund by 50%.
