"Lining Cup" Staged T Show Of Sports Apparel
Without the beauty of the long skirt, there is no grace of fur and silk, nor does it have dazzling accessories.
As an important component of the second China (Beijing) International Cultural and Creative Industries Fair, the Lining Cup sports dress International Youth Design Competition finals was held at the newly completed Lining headquarters during the fair.
On the T stage, the original design of 2008 spring and summer clothing series and sports shoes has created an unlimited possibility of combining fashion with sport, style and function.
The competition attracted the attention and participation of design institutes and groups from all over the world, bringing together designers from Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Hong Kong Polytech University and professional institutions and relevant design studios from the United States, Holland, Britain, France, Japan and other countries.
After 3 months of preliminaries and semi-finals, 29 young designers who entered the finals appeared on the scene of the Beijing finals with their finished products and shoes.
At the final of the competition, more than 20 models from home and abroad showed the designers' creativity and fashion in 2008 in fashion show.
The contest invites internationally renowned designers and experts, including Professor Amano Masaru of Musashino Art University in Japan, Caroline Roux, a journalist and design consultant in London, and Raymond Au, from the Department of textiles and clothing, Hong Kong Polytech University, China. They are judged by the current 8 awards.
The champion was picked up by Kelly Luis from London Clothing Institute, and Mr. Lining, chairman of the board of directors of the Lining group, presented the award in person.
Amano Masaru, Professor of fashion design department at Saint Martin Art College in London, told reporters that the entries of the contestants not only deeply explored the cultural elements of China, but also integrated the Western ideas of creativity, which opened up more ideas for the development of sports costumes in the field of cultural creativity, and also had a good reference for promoting the development of Chinese cultural and creative industries effectively.
The "opening of cultural and creative inspiration" promotes the development of cultural and creative industries and creates a combination of fashion and sport, style and function. This competition not only follows the Olympic concept of "green, technology and humanity", but also focuses on the latest creative ideas of Chinese and foreign fashion design institutes.
This is a very innovative attempt by Li Ning Co. It is also the first large-scale sports clothing design competition sponsored by the domestic sports brand, with the largest number of colleges and international level.
The final competition is intense, which fully reflects the combination of cultural creativity with the fashion of sports design in the coming of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
The innovation of the line judges, the vitality of Chinese elements, and the "Chinese elements" let us stand in the national perspective, re recognize and excavate the essence of Chinese traditional culture and make modern application. Many years ago, foreign countries began to make sportswear fashions. The combination of many high fashion and sportswear is a kind of liberation for clothing, fashion is more comfortable and more casual, sportswear is more beautiful and can attract people to join in healthy sports.
On such a stage, Chinese designers have a seed of hope, that is, "Chinese elements". The way to win is to explore national characteristics and increase cultural details.
It reflects China's concept of "made in China" as a world manufacturing base from many years ago. To two or three years ago, the concept of "made in China" and the "Chinese creation" concept, which are expected to be upgraded to the "made in China", and now the "Chinese elements", we have finally found a passive situation to change the "manufacturing in China" and make the "China create" the force to take root.
It is gratifying to note that when the world fashion is playing Chinese cards, domestic designers are also trying to add "Chinese elements" in the design.
