There may be a supply crisis in the coming holiday season, as workers in major factories in Ahmedabad are on strike.

These manufacturers usually purchase holiday season fabrics at this time of year, and now they are facing problems in fabric procurement.

"We have been affected by the current slowdown," said Mehta, President of the manufacturers association.

If workers strike continues, there is a great possibility that we will face supply crisis in the market, especially in the holiday season.

Manufacturers hope to receive demand in spring and summer, but this has not happened.

At present, they worry that supply constraints may disrupt their orders in the coming holiday season.

They said that their company made a rough twill cotton order to Arvind, but they still didn't receive the goods because of the workers' strike.

Workers at naroda factory in Arvind limited went on strike in June 4th, demanding a 40% increase in wages.

The factory made 84 million metres of the company's 108 million meter denim.

Later, workers from other factories, including Barry yarn company of Arvind company and Ankur textile company, took part in the strike and made similar requests.

8000 textile workers in Ahmedabad took part in the strike, which affected the production of 60-70% in most factories.

The union of workers' representatives and the association of textile workers presented an application for litigation to the Ahmedabad Textile Mills Association in October.

But the demands of the textile workers' Association were disdain, and the workers went on strike.

In most factories, the average monthly wage of workers is 5000-6000 rupees.
