Yesterday, the head of the Shaoxing inspection and Quarantine Bureau said that many textile and garment enterprises in Shaoxing reminded importers and domestic manufacturers to learn new standards, so as not to cause unnecessary losses.

It is reported that compared with the old standard, the new national standard has significant changes in the following aspects: first, the extension of the age range of infant textile products, from the original "24 months or below 80 centimeters" to "36 months or below 100 centimeters"; two is more stringent control of toxic and harmful substances; three is the expansion of baby products and direct contact with skin products, and puts forward higher requirements for the quality of new products.

"After the implementation of the new standard, for imported enterprises, all products that do not meet the new standards are not allowed to be sold in the market. When Shaoxing enterprises purchase overseas, they must know the implementation standards of the products."

Shaoxing inspection and Quarantine Bureau Zhuji office Zhou Yan reminded that for the production enterprises in Shaoxing, when purchasing raw materials, suppliers should be tested, so as to avoid the return of finished products due to unqualified upstream fabrics.

It is understood that the new national standard is characterized by expanding the scope of infant clothing and improving quality indicators. Children's clothing from 2 to 3 years old was divided from children group to infant group, from B group.
