Chopped felt is mainly used in hand paste, continuous plate and die pressing and SMC process.

The base material can be a thin fabric of glass fiber or other fibers, which has a sense of fluff.

Its main uses include thermal insulation, sound insulation materials, lining materials, filter materials, and also in FRP production, but the FRP strength is low and the use range is limited.

Another kind of continuous needling felt is a three dimensional structure felt which is thrown continuously on the continuous net belt by the wire throwing device of continuous glass precursor, and is formed by needling the needle plate.

This felt is mainly used for glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic punching sheet production.

(5) suture felt short cut

It can be used to stitch short or long fiber felts from 50mm or 60cm length. The former can replace the traditional binder chopped felt in a number of uses, and the latter will replace the continuous strand felt to a certain extent.

Their common advantages are that they do not contain binders, avoid contamination in the production process, and have good soaking performance and low price.
