The Ninth China ASEAN Expo Takes The Theme Of "Science And Technology Cooperation" As The Theme.

From 21 to 25 in Nanning, Guangxi, vice president Xi Jinping and leaders of ASEAN countries will attend important events such as the opening ceremony.

The Expo will focus on the theme of "science and technology cooperation" and hold 13 high-level forum and exchange activities involving finance, inspection and quarantine, advanced manufacturing, logistics, medicine and culture, including the China ASEAN science and technology Ministerial Conference.

The ninth Expo will closely follow the new situation of Sino ASEAN friendly cooperation and constantly deepen development, highlight the theme of win-win cooperation and comprehensively enhance cooperation in various fields such as friendly exchanges, economic and trade, investment and other fields, further promote China ASEAN strategic partnership and promote all-round good cooperation with ASEAN.

In 2011, bilateral trade between China and ASEAN reached a record $362 billion 850 million. China has become ASEAN's largest trading partner and ASEAN is China's third largest trading partner.

The China ASEAN Expo has played an important role in promoting bilateral trade.

According to the introduction, this year's Fair attracted thousands of enterprises at home and abroad, and the Secretariat of the Expo actually arranged 4600 of the 2280 exhibitors.

Chinese enterprises mainly focus on exhibitors.

Electronic and electrical appliances, building materials, agricultural products, light industrial products and other industries.

ASEAN and other countries have actually arranged 1300 booths this year. The main exhibitors are brand enterprises, leading enterprises, and bulk raw materials enterprises.

Among them, six ASEAN countries including Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Thailand and Vietnam participated in the exhibition.

In order to improve the economic and trade effectiveness, this year's total number of purchasers in the Expo is more than before, and the trade matching is more targeted.

The ninth Expo has reached more than 90 domestic and foreign procurement teams.

In addition to the 10 ASEAN countries continue to organize procurement group participation, the United States, France, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Russia, South Korea, India and other countries and regions will expand the scale of participation.

The leaders of ASEAN countries attending the current China ASEAN Expo include Burma President Wu Dengsheng, Lao Prime Minister Tong Xin, Vietnamese Prime Minister Ranjig, Vice Premier Mao Xiding of Malaysia, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, and so on.

The Expo will also arrange more dialogue between politicians and entrepreneurs.

During the Expo, there will be 13 high-level forum and exchange activities including finance, inspection and quarantine, advanced manufacturing, logistics, medicine and culture.

Among them, China and ASEAN ten countries held the first meeting of Ministers of science and technology to promote bilateral scientific and technological cooperation in terms of policy and institutional level.

The three is the first ASEAN Industrial Park Investment Promotion Conference. This will be the first time that ASEAN Industrial Park has been attracting investment in China, providing a new platform for Chinese enterprises to invest in ASEAN.

This year the first ASEAN Coffee Exhibition was held, and Vietnam and other ASEAN countries took part in the Agricultural Exhibition for the first time.

The number of booths applied by enterprises at home and abroad is 5710, which exceeds 24% of the total number of exhibitions.
