Luxury goods are generally experiencing a slack sales season, while luxury goods giant Armani continues to grow, but growth in China has slowed.


Armani's latest report shows that last year, the company's operating income reached 2 billion 100 million euros, an increase of 16%, operating profit increased 20% to 339 million euros. Armani said that the sales growth of all its brands was over two digits last year, and the contribution of the retail network and the Chinese market contributed to the growth of the company's performance.


The results showed that Armani's sales in China increased by 39%, although the growth rate was lower than 45% in the same period last year, but it is still the main force of the company's performance growth.


During the reporting period, the total number of Armani's global stores reached 2203, with 104 new stores. Among them, the number of new stores in Asia, Europe and the United States is 38, 33 and 26 respectively. Meanwhile, Armani has launched online stores in the Chinese market.


Although the development of luxury goods in China is still improving, the slowdown has also slowed down many luxury giants.


Reporters learned that the world's three largest luxury goods giant spring group, Louis Weedon group, Swiss peak group announced the suspension of the expansion plan in China.
