One day before the exchange meeting, Alibaba group announced the establishment of the "Hongkong Youth Enterprise Fund" in HK $1 billion to support young people in Hongkong to develop their businesses and develop their entrepreneurial spirit.

The fund will assist young entrepreneurs in Hongkong to start businesses on the e-commerce market and platform of Alibaba group, and sell products and services from Hongkong to the mainland market.

In addition, the fund will select 200 outstanding graduates from universities in Hongkong each year to practice in Alibaba group or other companies.
