It is a very fresh consumer way, many people do not understand online shopping, so Internet fraud is rampant, and there is no relevant legal supervision.

In order to combat cyber fraud, the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) is working hard to enact the relevant provisions of the e-commerce bill.

According to a researcher at the Ministry of communications in Egypt, e-commerce accounts for about 3% of the total business in Egypt.

Hugo net reported from the daily news of Egypt in February 4th that the economic effect brought by the Internet is very significant, whether it is sold in the domestic market or sold abroad.

More and more companies use the Internet as a marketing tool, but this makes online fraud more and more.

Recently, the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) received many complaints about fake shopping websites.

According to CPA chairman Yaqoub, in order to protect consumers, the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency is currently studying the regulatory mechanism of e-commerce, including the development and addition of new provisions to the consumer protection act 67/2006.

These Provisions contain the requirement that consumers purchase products through telephone or Internet can be refunded within three days.

CPA has publicly pointed out some false satellite channels and service centers.

These agencies publish false advertisements and call themselves legitimate authorized agencies, but these are false. These practices violate the sixth provisions of the consumer rights protection act.

This provision stipulates that the channel contractors and advertising channels must provide accurate product information to consumers in order to avoid misleading consumers.

It is confirmed that there are many fake brands in the market.

It can even mislead well-known authorized agencies, and ultimately deceive consumers, such as the telephone hotline, so that consumers have confidence in the safety of pactions, so as to achieve the purpose of deception.

CPA recently announced that it would offer some guidance to consumers on the site.

For example, when consumers purchase things online, they should first ensure the accuracy of the data, and compare the following to different websites before purchasing different websites, while paying attention to reading labels and understanding the distribution of freight related provisions.

CPA has warned consumers to pay attention to the fraudulent phone sales, and asked Egyptian telephone yellow pages to filter the database in time to screen and screen companies that cheated consumers.

Yaqoub

The Egyptian industrial regulatory agency (ICA) began to strengthen its control over the approval process of business licenses.

In 2014, the total value of Egypt's electricity supplier was about 1 billion 300 million Egyptian pounds, and it could be increased to 10 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of 2015.

Yaqoub is very optimistic about the prospect of Egypt's electricity supplier. It is estimated that the Egyptian electricity market will increase to 17 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of 2016.
