The Total Recovery Rate Of Garment Enterprises In Henan Is 80%, And The Recovery Capacity Is Nearly 90%.
In March 26th, the Henan Garment Industry Association released the report on the survey of garment industry in Henan province. The report shows that as of March 23rd, the total recovery rate of garment enterprises in the province was 80%, and the recovery capacity was nearly 90%. Affected by the epidemic, the production and operation of enterprises decreased compared with the same period last year.
It is understood that the survey visited a total of 109 enterprises and institutions in our province, covering 6 industrial clusters, 3 garment featured parks, 1 chambers of Commerce, 3 professional markets and 96 enterprises. Including textile, printing and dyeing, clothing production, processing, independent brand, design, industry and trade integration, trade, supply chain, agents, electricity providers, service consulting, retail and so on 13 categories. Covering the domestic market and foreign trade, the sales mode involves the wholesale, agent, retail and online traditional electricity providers, and the "new business" represented by short videos, live broadcast and micro stores.

Facing the epidemic situation, garment enterprises actively explore new marketing paths, and the "new business" has a strong momentum of development. Of the 96 enterprises surveyed, nearly 90% of the enterprises have taken various modes of operation and sales through various channels. Some garment enterprises quickly converted to epidemic prevention products during the epidemic, or quickly returned to the main business of Wei timber. Some clothing enterprises transform their sales scope from foreign trade to domestic sales, and develop online sales channels. On the basis of traditional electricity providers, many enterprises are trying to live in the form of "new electricity supplier", such as live broadcast, micro live broadcast and short video. Among them, some of the independent brand enterprises in Zhengzhou area have increased the turnover by the "new electricity supplier". For example, the "ESEY" and "Ya Li Da" electricity suppliers increased by 30% over the same period. Most other enterprises are still in the process of exploring the new retail mode.
Before the outbreak of the epidemic, the competition between the "new electricity supplier" in clothing industry and the traditional electricity supplier was already in the white hot stage. "New electric business" refers to the emerging business mode that can be accurately spread between the community and fans groups in the form of live broadcast, short video and micro stores. Unlike traditional electricity providers featuring pictures and commentaries, "new business" pays more attention to dynamic video display, anchor product introduction and community experience communication, which is a situational community economy. A number of live platforms, short time and frequency platforms, micro mall, small programs and other online products are becoming the carrier of "new business". During the epidemic period, the "new electricity supplier" in the clothing industry is particularly outstanding, with strong development momentum. Online experience and offline purchase are becoming a new sales mode for wholesalers, agents and retailers. Research has been informed that the province's independent brands, e-commerce enterprises are recruiting, to further explore the "new business" mode of operation.
Under the epidemic situation, large industrial parks, textile, printing and dyeing, clothing production, processing, independent brand, industry and trade enterprises are still recruiting workers, importing production equipment and expanding production scale. Most small and micro enterprises have not yet resumed work, and entrepreneurs are pessimistic about future development. There are a small number of layoffs due to factors such as capital, orders, inventory, and changes in domestic and international epidemic situation in trade and supply chain enterprises. The traditional electricity supplier enterprises are facing greater pressure to survive, and layoffs are generally carried out, but the "new business" enterprises generally expand their scale and cultivate their operation teams. Wholesale, agent, retail, service consulting enterprises and professional markets have not fully released their business premises since the outbreak of the epidemic, and failed to fully resume their work.
The clothing trade situation is becoming more and more serious with the spread of foreign epidemic situation. With the spread of the epidemic in foreign countries, export-oriented enterprises are facing greater pressure. In terms of orders, orders from the US and Europe have been partially cancelled, and orders in Europe have declined compared with the same period. After the completion of the first, second quarter of the order production, the number of subsequent orders is uncertain. However, orders from countries in Japan and along the belt are relatively stable. At present, enterprises are unable to accurately judge the foreign trade situation. They have already affected the production plan of the second half of the year. They are more conservative in taking orders, recruiting workers and purchasing equipment, and gradually begin to look for domestic orders to ease operating pressure.
