US Trade Representative'S Office Revises The US $200 Billion Tariff Exclusion List

On August 24, 2020, the U.S. Trade Representative Office revised the US $200 billion tariff exclusion list, adding two excluded products and revising eight historical excluded product descriptions.

The revised textile description and HS code are as follows, and the export enterprises need to re-examine whether they meet the exclusion conditions:

5903.10.2090: imitation leather fabric of man-made fibres, impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with at least 60% polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and 75% plastic by weight.

On August 6, 2020, there are 997 items in the original U.S. tariff exclusion list of 200 billion yuan, 266 products (including 21 completely excluded products) have been extended, accounting for about 1 / 4 of the original list, including 24 tax codes of textile and clothing products. The validity period of the exclusion will be extended from August 7, 2020 to December 31, 2020; 731 products have not been extended, accounting for about 1 / 4 of the original list It accounts for 3 / 4 of the original list, including 27 tax codes for textile and clothing products, which will resume the 25% tariff increase from August 7, 2020.
