Focus On The Key Generic Technologies Of The Industry And Build Shanghai Advanced Technology Textile Innovation Center

On November 15, Zhang Hongtao, chief engineer of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission, led a team to Shanghai Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. of Oriental International (Group) to investigate and promote the establishment of Shanghai advanced technology Textile Innovation Center. The investigation was accompanied by Shi Fang, deputy head of Yangpu District.

Zhang Hongtao visited Shanghai Textile Science and technology innovation center and textile testing laboratory, listened to the report on the preparation of manufacturing innovation center, and affirmed the preparatory work of Shanghai advanced technology Textile Innovation Center. He pointed out that first, Orient International (Group) should give full play to the industry influence, coordinate the National Textile Innovation Resources, and complete the establishment of Shanghai manufacturing innovation center as soon as possible. Second, the innovation center should focus on the key generic technologies of the textile industry, benchmarking the national manufacturing innovation center, building the innovation center with high standards, and improving the innovation ability of Shanghai's textile industry. Third, Shanghai, Yangpu District and the shareholders and alliance members of the innovation center should make concerted efforts to promote the construction of Shanghai advanced technology Textile Innovation Center and strive to upgrade to a national manufacturing innovation center as soon as possible.
