The Wool Textile Industry Green Low-Carbon Situation And Standard Exchange Meeting Was Held In Qinghe, Hebei On May 31

The exchange meeting on green and low-carbon policies and standards for wool textile industry jointly organized by China Wool Textile Industry Association, Qinghe Cashmere Industry Development Service Center and Qinghe Cashmere Industry Technology Research Institute was held in Qinghe County, Hebei Province, on the morning of May 31.

Liu Jiaqiang, President of China Wool Textile Industry Association, Liu Dan, Vice President, Zhang Jingwei, Secretary General, Wang Zhongjie, Director of Qinghe Cashmere Industry Technology Research Institute, Xie Changlin, Deputy Director of Qinghe Cashmere Industry Development Service Center, Kang Lin, and representatives of 18 local enterprises from Qinghe attended the exchange meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Xie Changlin. At the meeting, Liu Jiaqiang interpreted the policies to promote China's green and low-carbon process, and introduced the work carried out by the China Mauritius Association around the "double carbon" goal and the needs of the wool textile industry. Liu Dan introduced the main standards and related technical contents of carbon emission accounting in China. With the gradual deepening of the concept of green and low-carbon development, the industry has paid extensive attention to green and low-carbon development and is actively exploring the road of development. In 2022, the China Wool Association started the research work on industry carbon emissions, committed to improving the level of green and low-carbon development of the industry, and established the "Green and Low Carbon Alliance for Wool Textile Industry" in 2023, aiming to strengthen industry exchanges and promote sustainable development of the industry. Qinghe County, as the research achievements transformation base of the Alliance, first explored and actively practiced, established itself in the region, strengthened the communication between enterprises and the national industry, improved the green development level of enterprises in the region, and solidly promoted the implementation and practice of various achievements in the region.
