Gu Ping, president of the China Textile Machinery Association, said that in the face of multiple challenges such as the restructuring of the global textile and clothing industry chain, insufficient domestic and foreign market demand, and rising uncertainty in the trade environment, The past year has overturned too much of the original logic, but the enthusiasm for improving the innovation efficiency of the textile industry continues, and the endogenous power is stronger. The construction of the modern textile industry system has still made positive progress, and the basic platform for high-quality development of the textile machinery industry is still solid, providing strong support for the shaping of new quality productivity in the textile industry.

　　 The data shows that 870 textile machinery enterprises above designated size achieved operating revenue of 105.699 billion yuan from January to November 2024, up 8.72% year on year; The total profit was 7.852 billion yuan, up 19.04% year on year. From January to November, the total import and export volume of the industry was US $6.349 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.50%. Among them, the export was USD 4.204 billion, up 1.96% year on year.

From the continuous extension of the integration of inter process logistics and information flow, to the ring spinning machine's spinning speed of 25000 r/min and the birth of ultra long equipment with more than 2400 spindles, to the new breakthrough of short process spinning equipment technology; The adaptability of looms to new materials and new technologies is constantly enhanced, and the industrial application is further deepened; The technology of the three major knitting machines is becoming more mature, and they are deeply involved in the process innovation of downstream customers; Under the theme of energy saving, consumption reduction and efficiency improvement, dyeing and finishing equipment presents more innovations; The innovative achievements in the greening, differentiation and intellectualization of chemical fiber and nonwoven machinery have all demonstrated the innovation power of the industry.

"Today, China's textile machinery also has considerable competitiveness in technology, quality, productivity, efficiency and other aspects. At present, about three quarters of China's textile machinery exports are in countries and regions along the" Belt and Road ", which is also a market that enterprises need to focus on when going global," Gu Ping said, "At present, the average export business of Chinese textile machinery enterprises accounts for about 20%, and some enterprises account for 50%, but most enterprises in Europe, Japan and other countries and regions account for more than 80% of their exports, which has the problem of industrial structure, but also reflects that China's textile machinery has a very large space to go to sea." Gu Ping mentioned that it is not so simple to get export orders to become a truly global enterprise, "Enterprises need to combine their own conditions, speed up the construction of an export-oriented system, adhere to the long-term principle, and attach importance to brand value. By doing so, China's textile machinery export will show a better state in the future."
