Foreign Students Wear Chinese Clothes To Feel The Cultural Charm Of Chinese Clothing

On March 31, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education and the Service Center for Studying Abroad launched a series of activities of the "Hanfu Festival for International Students" in Beijing.

From the solemn and elegant wedding dress etiquette, to the poetic Tang and Song elegance, and then to the innovative design integrating ancient and modern times, the Hanfu show with three series of themes of "etiquette inheritance", "Tang style and Song rhyme" and "Ming system innovation" brings a traditional dress feast.

The event attracted nearly 100 foreign students from more than 30 countries, including Russia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and Egypt. They also put on Han costumes to feel the cultural charm of Chinese costumes.

It is reported that after the launch of the Hanfu Festival for International Students, a series of activities will be carried out, including the Hanfu Show for Chinese students, the day of concentrated exhibition of Hanfu for international students around the world, as well as Hanfu culture lectures, knowledge quizzes, and design competitions. With Hanfu as a cultural symbol, teachers and students at home and abroad will be invited to participate in it, and the rich connotation of Chinese excellent traditional culture will be spread to all parts of the world.

Zou You, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, said that the Han clothing culture should be gradually developed in our daily life and modern life in a way that is easy for young people to accept. In fact, this kind of traditional Chinese aesthetics, through a kind of wearing behavior, can convey it silently. I think it has special contemporary value.
