Yesterday, according to British media, the world's largest fur auction was held in Copenhagen this week, with a record number of buyers from China.

Timothy Everest, a Hongkong fur trader with nearly 30 years of experience, told reporters that despite the financial crisis, demand for fur remained strong.

The auction hall was crowded with 350 buyers from China. They paid close attention to quotations, talked and took notes, then made purchase decisions.

A large number of new Chinese buyers have stabilized the market. The company expects that prices will remain stable this week and goods will be sold out.
