"West Shoe Capital" Is A Magic Chain Of Things.

30 kilometers west of Chongqing, the area along the piqing highway in Bishan county was still a barren land 4 years ago.

Now, tall buildings are booming, and a vibrant modern industrial park has sprung up.

In December 2005, it was named "the western shoes capital" by China Light Industry Federation and China leather shoes Association.

"Western shoes capital" is a fruitful achievement for AOKANG group to enter the western region.

Bishan county has a history of shoemaking for 80 years.

Before 2003, there were more than 1800 leather shoes production and operation enterprises in the county, but most of them were family workshops. They had no scale, much less brands, and had only been able to process low-grade shoes for a long time.

In January 2003, AOKANG Group signed an agreement with Bishan county to build the "western shoes capital" together.

According to AOKANG's plan, after the completion of the shoe industrial park, 100 enterprises will be introduced, with 100 million pairs of shoes produced annually, with an output value of 10 billion yuan, and 1000 business households.

AOKANG's first project in Bishan was the establishment of the red Firebird Footwear Company, and the establishment of the "West shoe material trading center" and the "golden capital incubator area".

In a short span of 5 years, a modern footwear industrial city integrating footwear production, processing, logistics, storage and pportation has been initially formed in Bishan.

Now, AOKANG has introduced 9 Wenzhou and the Great Wall shoe materials Co., Ltd., and other upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, which are closely related to their own counterparts, to Bishan. Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian and other more than 70 shoe making enterprises and more than 400 business operators have also settled in.

Wang Zhentao, the chairman of AOKANG group, said that "in order to seek more room for development", the chairman of AOKANG group said, "the cooperation between the shoe companies and AOKANG can not only integrate resources, but also maximize the brand advantage."

AOKANG has set up a shoe brand award fund.

The local shoe companies in the industrial park have been awarded the title of "China famous brand" by 1 million yuan, and the "Chongqing famous brand" enterprise award is 100 thousand yuan.

In addition, AOKANG also dispatched professionals from Wenzhou to Bishan to provide guidance in phases.

A few days ago, more than 20 local shoe companies in Bishan entered the industrial park.

According to the statistics of Bishan shoe office, as of the end of 2006, there were 480 registered trademarks of shoes in the county, of which 26 were approved by the China Leather Association to use the "genuine leather logo", accounting for 62.8% of the leather enterprises in Chongqing.

In addition, there are 2 famous trademarks, 1 national inspection free products and 6 Chongqing brand names.

So far, the annual output of leather shoes in Bishan has reached 60 million double and annual output value of 4 billion yuan, and its products are exported to Central Asia, South Asia, Europe and Africa.

"AOKANG brings to the west is not only the effect of a leading enterprise, but moving into an industrial chain," experts say.

Now in Bishan, there are many new businesses for supporting, consigning, marketing and so on. There are nearly 100 enterprises consigned to shoe factories and tens of thousands of employees.

The economic pull effect of AOKANG's westward movement is also gradually emerging. In recent years, the amount of deposits in Bishan's financial institutions has increased rapidly: in 2002, savings deposits of urban and rural residents were 3 billion 320 million yuan, and 5 billion 850 million yuan in 2006, with an annual average growth of 15.2%.

In 2006, the county's fiscal revenue reached 870 million yuan, an increase of 1.9 times compared to 2002, and over 1 billion yuan in 2007.

From making shoes to building parks, from the east to the East and West, AOKANG group has achieved leaping development.

In 2005, with the full operation of the main project of the "west shoes capital" phase I project, AOKANG also became the first shoemaking enterprise in Wenzhou to produce industrial output value of 2 billion yuan.
