< p > Business News March 3rd, according to the memorandum of understanding signed by the Republic of China and the Republic of Yemen, from March 1st, our inspection and quarantine agency will carry out pre shipment inspection of the industrial products exported to Yemen, and Yemen authorities will enter and place them on the basis of pre shipment inspection certificates.

So far, Yemen has become the sixth country after Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iran and Sultan to carry out the pre shipment inspection of export products by our country's < a href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/news/index_q.asp" > inspection and quarantine agency < /a >.

< /p >

< p > it is understood that not all industrial products exported to Yemen need to apply to the inspection and quarantine institutions for the pre shipment inspection procedures. Only the industrial products in the twenty-fifth to 29 chapters and the thirty-first chapter to the 97 chapter of the International Convention on the harmonization of commodity names and coding system (HS code) are involved.

It has been verified that textile products are listed among them.

In the light of the above requirements, the inspection and quarantine agency reminds the relevant enterprises that when exporting < a href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/news/index_q.asp > > /a > to Yemen, it is necessary to have a detailed understanding and mastery of Yemen's technical regulations and standards, and express it clearly in international trade contracts so as to enable enterprises to organize production and product acceptance. For goods that need to carry out pre shipment inspection, they should contact the inspection and quarantine institutions as early as possible, familiarise themselves with the process of inspection in advance, and reserve the time for inspection and supervision, so as to avoid the economic loss caused by the lack of pre shipment inspection certificates in Yemen and the failure to deliver goods in Yemen.
